Hello my Samsung Galaxy J3 is asking me to…“please turn off Samsung wifi calling” and I do not know how to do that…can you plesae advise…Thanks
Please see the following help article linked below:
Hello…Thanks for writing…My Wifi is on…I enter into my apps…find Mobile networks…and my menu there just has Data Roaming…Volte call…network mode…access point name and network operators…? I do not see Advanced or Wifi calling…Thanks
I’m not sure of the Android version your J3 has… but if its 9 (Pie) or higher try this (from the link provided by @cbwahlstrom)
For Samsung Phones Running Android 9 Pie and Above:
- From a Home screen, tap the Phone icon
- Tap the Menu icon (upper-right)
- Tap Settings
- Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to turn WiFi Calling off
Hopefully the Republic Help doc provides the information that you need, however as a point of clarification I have requested a change to the doc to make it clear that the purpose is to turn off the phone manufactures Wi-Fi because it can cause interference with Republic’s “Bonded Calling” that uses WiFi first then augments it with cell as necessary to maintain its calling quality
Thanks …my wifi reads disabled…is that good…?
If you mean the WiFi calling setting…yes.
