User Damage question

So a couple weeks I had a problem with my phone. It had ghosting problems even though I had the phone for four months. I got a replacement and was charge 80 dollars. The only description they gave me about the damages was “Bad/ no display.” So, I am kind of confused of what they are charging me for because I thought my phone was in really good condition with no scratches or dents on it.

I would ask whoever replaced/repaired the phone. Sounds like it should have been replaced under warranty at no charge.
