We're Taking this Show on the Road

At Republic, we think a little bit differently – and we bet you do, too. Unlike other carriers, who want you to use more data and spend more time on your phone, we want you to spend your time (and money) experiencing everything life has to offer. We believe your smartphone should empower your life – by helping you keep in touch with the ones you love, getting you from point A to point B, and reminding you of the events you have coming up. All too often, though, we see smartphones dominating our lives – and we don’t want…

Driving on the wrong side of the road? Or is RW going international?

Ha-ha! They won’t get very far down road like that! Someone was asleep at the wheel.

I’ll pass if that’s who will be driving us to dinner.

We’ve found a new driver, who got us headed in the right direction now

If you do a dinner in Fayetteville, AR, Tulsa, OK, or Joplin, MO, I’ll try my best to make it to the dinner (as my schedule allows). The University of Arkansas is in Fayetteville, so that might be a good place for Republic Wireless to go to outside of the dinner anyways.

If you’re ever in the Metro Atlanta area, drop us a line.

Umm. Before the photo was replaced, it was on the wrong side of the road. No perspective trick. I’m highly confident that it was a photoshopping accident (it’s easy to mirror when editing and not correct later).

And easy to overlook when proofread and reviewed prior to publication?

Mistakes happen, at least, to me. :slightly_smiling_face:

I liked when I was in Croatia and could simply dial my family in New Orleans as long as I was on wi-fi. How great!

That’s great to hear! It’s wonderful to be able to stay connected with our loved ones, even when halfway around the globe! :world_map:

Actually, that’s not the wrong side of the road. They’re driving in the right-hand lane on the right side of a four-lane highway.

You’re late to the party. The picture was corrected yesterday.

There’s nothing wrong with the picture. The van is driving south. Great idea - it’s late December!!

Wish I’d thought to save a copy of the image prior to being flipped to the correct orientation for the US only market.

Of course I didn’t see the original image but as there are no road signs and solid white lines on both sides of “the road” I’m guessing that this is a private road or more likely, a test track. If there were solid white and yellow lines at the edges of the roadway it would be a different story.

Believe the image prior to the fix was mirrored and upside down. As I remember the van appeared to driving in the left two lanes of a highway as in the UK and many other countries and it was heading towards the top of page. Highway likely in NC and the lack of signs makes the scene more serene.
