What's the best way to notify contacts of my new number?

So I want to use Text Messaging, since it’s so easy to save a text’s number to a contact. But I DON’T want to use a big Mass Text, since they could start a reply-all nightmare.

So that means individual texts to each contact…

Is there a better way to do this? I almost think you could make money selling an app that just sends out a bunch of individual texts for you…anything like that out there?

If you you go to settings in the Messages app, select “advanced”, and then “group messaging” there should two options. One is for “group MMS” and the other for a “mass text”. The mass text option will only reply to you and not the other contacts basically sending it as a individual text to each recipient.
