When I call my own phone number to get voicemails, no keyboard appears

My password has both letters and numbers. When I call for voicemail, the alpha-numeric keyboard doesn't appear. How do I invoke the alpha-numeric keyboard to enter my password?

What phone do you have? Moto G7

What plan are you on? Unlimited Talk, Text and 3 gigs of data

Does your plan include data, or just talk & text?

Issue Description

Hi @clc2clc2,

While the password for your Republic account may indeed be alpha-numeric, a Republic voicemail PIN cannot be. By definition, a Republic voicemail PIN is four-digits. More is linked here: https://help.republicwireless.com/hc/en-us/sections/115001648268-Voicemail

Thanks! This worked. Still the PIN wasn’t asked for, the PW was, which I why I tripped up.

Thanks @clc2clc2,

When we made that recording I asked that it say “PIN” and was told that most people call it a password and that we’d confuse people if we called it a PIN. :woman_shrugging:
I’m glad, after 5 years of being wrong, to finally find one person who agrees with me!

Make that two people who agree with you. To me, password implies alpha-numeric whereas PIN implies all numbers.
