Does it really take 2 plus hours to activate a new phone?
Normally not, but yesterday there was a major outage of services (see Republic Status tracking)
- You may want to try starting the process over again from scratch.
I feel your pain. I received a phone yesterday and it will not activate. Customer Service is sending a new SIM card…let’s hope that’s the issue.
The outage that was causing this is no resolved. Can you simply try completely powering off the phone, then powering it back on, and trying the activation again?
