I cracked my Moto X (16GB) recently. After finding out the screen repair would cost $150 I thought of upgrading to a phone with more storage. Republic Wireless offers Moto G5 Plus in 32GB and 64GB version. I thought the 64GB fits my needs. The 32GB is priced similar to current market price $229, but 64GB is priced about $30 higher at $299 (MP: $269). Does anyone know why this is?
I understand that if I brought my own Moto G5 plus, then I could switch my account to the new phone and save $30. But, why is Republic Wireless asking extra $30 above market price?
