Wifi 5ghz problem

Issue Description

2.4 ghz guest account works fine.
Normal account shows 5ghz connection. It
toggles between showing the lte icon with an error message on the cell signal strength to the wifi icon showing an error. Turned wifi off and on, turned phone off and on, etc. I have seen the lte icon briefly before but it never caused problems

This sounds like you are too far from the router, 5GHz does not penetrate walls and floors near as well as 2.4GHz.
The fact that it shows LTE would indicate that you will be using cell data, but the plan you have has no data, so your connectivity would be limited

Some info that could help narrow down the problem

  • What does the RW Diagnostic indicate?
    • RW App / :settingsicon: Settings / Advanced Settings / Run diagnostic tests
  • What is the make/model of your Router (usually on sticker back/bottom)

All the tests, etc were fine.

I rebooted the modem and so far everything is back to normal.
